The main objectives of the  project are:

• Understand the content of viral particles focusing on genome integrity and presence of impurities, by developing new analytical approaches for evaluation of the actual content of viral vectors
• Propose novel approaches to improve purification strategies
• Initiate development of strategies to minimize the possibility of incorrect DNA packaging
• Transfer of developed approaches to the viral vector production and/or analytical facilities
