Hands-on workshops and a film screening where primary-school pupils explore the rhythms of nature and the work of scientists in an engaging, age-appropriate and interactive way. The workshops are run by scientists, university professors, teachers, students and secondary-school pupils.
A programme adapted to age and prior knowledge:
- grades 1–3 of primary school
- grades 4–5 of primary school
- grades 6–9 – activity days
- grades 6–9 – electives, clubs, gifted pupils
In groups: 20–25 pupils between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., and 10–15 pupils between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Due to high demand, morning places are already full; organised school groups can still register for the 1 p.m.–5 p.m. slot. To register, fill in the application form and send it to marusa.pompe.novak@nib.si. Registrations are accepted until places are filled.
