We will present the lives of bumblebees and solitary bees and compare their life cycles with that of the much better-known honeybee. We will explain the unique characteristics of pollination by wild pollinators and why honeybees cannot replace their role. Visitors will have the opportunity to test their skills in identifying different pollinators and discover what our diets would look like without them. Through conversations with researchers, they will also learn how the National Institute of Biology studies bumblebees, why this research is important, and how everyone can contribute to creating a more pollinator-friendly world.
