Research work progresses from an idea, through a hypothesis and an experiment, to a new idea. Modern research equipment plays a vital role in this cycle, without which experiments cannot be carried out. From equipment that enables the cultivation and observation of plants and provides greater insight into them, to equipment that allows molecules to be counted in research and diagnostic laboratories.
The event is part of the NIB Open Day. It is intended for organised school groups of sixth-formers and secondary school pupils. Advance registration is required via the registration form on the NIB Open Day website.
