Recycle, Reuse, Create!
The exhibition Nature and Mythology of Pohorje, on display at the Noordung Centre, reveals the richness of Pohorje’s natural heritage through interpretive texts, illustrations and nature photography. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the unique features of Pohorje’s landscapes and habitats and discover why the region is recognised as one of the most important nature conservation areas in Slovenia and Europe.
High-stem meadow orchards are true treasure troves of life. Visitors will be able to discover the diversity of life’s rhythms at the “In the Orchard” Interpretation Centre and at information points throughout the orchard.
Traditional high-stem meadow orchards are true treasure troves of life. Their tall trunks, magnificent crowns, dark tree hollows and colourful meadows stretching into the beech forest create rhythms of life and offer endless opportunities for experiencing, learning about and exploring nature.
