The goal of this project is to target glioblastoma invasiveness and selectively block the protease activity with a new generation of MMP-directed covalent inhibitors in combination with irradiation. This is bilateral project between Proteins chemical labeling team of dr. Laurent Devel from the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) Saclay Paris and Cancer biology group of dr. Barbara Breznik Vittori at the National Institute of Biology (NIB) related to novel combinational glioblastoma brain tumour therapy.
